Out Of My Closet ~ Special for V-Day

Polished a rusty charm bracelet presented to me by Dr Pepper in my first year as their spokesperson.

Underneath layers of old photos appeared a small patch I should have attached to a pair of jeans (never owned a pair until I was in my twenties).

The patch declared “I’m a Pepper”.

In addition, I’ve added something from Clock Dial, Dr Pepper’s company magazine from March-April 1966.

For those who question the 10-2-4, here’s the official explanation along with the cover of the magazine.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!

One year ago tonight I got to watch you live for the first time singing at the Balboa Theater in San Francisco. You were wearing very tight sequined pants and a faux fur jacket. You looked marvelous. Then you walked up the isle singing one on one to each of us in attendance. Quite an event for someone who admired your talent beginning in the 80’s and wondered all those years where you had gone. I’m glad you’re back Donna, looking great and still the little girl with the big voice.

    XOXO
