  1. Mark Gage says:

There were some VERY GOOD actors and actresses in Beach Blanket Bingo. I
listed some of them here. Of all these actors and actresses, Donna Loren was
a class act in this movie and to date from what I can find on her, she continues to be a ” ONE OF A KIND ” person ”
I served in the US Navy in Vietnam when these Beach party movies came out. Each night our ship would show these movies and if I was on duty, I would trade with another shipmate in order that I might be able to watch them. Donna Loren was the main reason I did this. When she sang the song
” It only Hurts When I cry ” the guys went nuts. We are talking about guys serving our country and to have that effect on them INCLUDING MYSELF, was amazing. I’ll never forget that movie and the scene with Donna Loren.
I hope ALL of Donna’s fans feels the same was as I do, as I am sure they do. Always in our thoughts, we love you Donna.
CAST OF BEACH BLANKET BINGO: Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Deborah Walley, Harvey Lembeck, John Ashley, Jody McCrea, Donna Loren, Marta Kristen, Linda Evans, Timothy Carey, Don Rickles, Paul Lynde, Donna Michelle, Michael Nader & Patti Chandler.
